Ernest Clifton Reed, US Army 1941

This is my grandfather from his first stint in the Army. He was drafted early in 1941. Spent his time at Fort Lewis in Washington before the US entered the war. He ended up in the desert at Army HQ as part of the Persian Gulf Command. He was mustered out summer of 1945.
